Vision benefits for our PPO I, PPO II, and Diabetes & Heart Care (HMO CSNP) plans are through VSP Vision Care. If you’re on the Cardinal (HMO) or Eagle (PPO) plan, you have a Flexible Wallet Benefit that you can use toward vision expenses withno network requirements.

There are times you may need to see a dentist other than your regular checkups. Here are five signs you need to schedule an appointment, courtesy of the American Dental Association:

Puffy gums that bleed when you brush or floss
Problems chewing or swallowing
Jaw pain or popping
Spots or sores in your mouth

Your HealthTeam Advantage plan includes an OTC benefit through NationsBenefits®.
All members receive a Benefits Mastercard®, a prepaid debit card, in the mail that can be used to purchase a variety of OTC items, such as first aid and medical supplies, pain relievers, cold and flu medications, diabetes supplies, vitamins, dental care products, and more.
Important Reminders:
Your debit card will be loaded with an allowance each quarter. (Amounts vary by plan; please consult your Evidence of Coverage for details.)
You can roll your allowance to the next quarter, but you must use all your benefit by December 31, 2024.
